Community Visioning Workshops (Parks Master Plan)
Deerfield Township, along with our planning consultant team, is undertaking a Comprehensive Master Plan for our parks system. The planning process will be community-oriented and consensus-focused, continuing over approximately 9 months. We aim to inspire all who live, work, and play in Deerfield Township to take part in defining a clear vision for the future of our parks.
What is a Community Visioning Workshop?
Engaging our community is a key component of the planning process. At Community Visioning Workshops, you’ll be able to discuss ideas, ask questions, review survey results and evaluate alternatives. Workshops begin at 6:30pm with a large group presentation, followed by small break-out tables for small group discussion and feedback. Before adjourning, we come back together as a large group to share with one another key points from each small group.
In What Other Ways May I Participate?
In the coming weeks, we will be launching a website specifically for the Parks Master Plan. There you will find information for participating in Community Visioning Workshops, surveys, and submitting feedback. The website will also contain meeting minutes, survey results, and project documentation to help keep you informed. Check back on DeerfieldRec.com or ChooseDeerfield.com for updates and a link to the new website.
Each workshop is held near a different quadrant of the Township to encourage participation by the entire community. We appreciate the following organizations for allowing us to use their facilities for these meetings: Kings Local School District, North Cincinnati Community Church, and Four Bridges Country Club.
